Do you think paintings are beautiful? Isn’t it magnificent how an artist can recreate how they imagine beauty through color palettes, clay, paper clips, or really anything they can get their hands on to make their incredible works of art?
Artists continue to amaze me every single day. I love seeing the different ways people see beauty & evoke emotion.
Now think about how you view your body vs. how you view art.
When you look at a piece of art, do you think about how it could be better or appreciate the artist’s unique point of view?
How you answer that question could have much to do with how you view yourself.
Having an open mind and an appreciation for the differences in this world can help you learn to appreciate your body the same way artists have for years.
We don’t all find the same art beautiful, but we can appreciate the artist’s style, message & talent.
Let’s appreciate the laugh lines from smiling too much and the stretch marks that represent the changes our bodies have been through. Let’s change how we see our “flaws” and remember that this is our body’s way of documenting our experiences.
